Who We Are

Kings Community Church, Lancaster

We desire to make Jesus known in our city...

The King’s Community Church is a growing, charismatic, evangelical church that meets for corporate worship each Sunday morning at 10.30am at The King’s House, Phoenix Street, Lancaster.  Directions >>

Our gatherings know and experience the ‘life’ of Christ. As we worship and hear His word, we believe that it is His presence that makes all the difference. ‘Life’ is also experienced in our midweek meetings at homes in the locality.

We are a community church and as such our desire is to grow as a loving community of worshipping, learning and serving disciples; a community where every member of the church is encouraged to use and develop their gifts and abilities thus contributing to the Body of Christ and seeing the church function as Christ intended. As a church with an outward focus we desire to make Jesus known in our city and surrounding area not only by word but also by deed, reaching out to the lost and with a concern for the poor and needy.

King's Community Church is not a part of any particular denomination of churches but neither are we independent, for we are in relationship with a number of other churches both here in the UK and other parts of the world. Ministries Without Borders >>

Within our church we are committed to working with the whole range of Ephesians 4 ministries: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. In so doing we believe that as God’s people we shall be effective in the work God has prepared for us (Eph 4:11-16). Accordingly, we recognise and are grateful to God for the apostolic role that Keri Jones has towards us.

We are members of the Evangelical Alliance.
