Being an undergraduate student is an amazing experience - it can also be an overwhelming experience at times.  But through the highs and lows of student life God is consistent, and the best advice that you will ever hear whilst at university is to get stuck into a local church where you will find encouragement and support in your journey with God.

The King’s Community Church (KCC) is a growing, charismatic, evangelical church that meets for worship each Sunday morning at 10.30am at The King’s House, Phoenix Street, Lancaster. We are a community church and as such our desire is to grow as a loving community of worshipping, learning and serving disciples; a community where every member of the church is encouraged to use and develop their gifts and abilities thus contributing to the Body of Christ and seeing the church function as Christ intended. As a church with an outward focus we desire to make Jesus known in our city and surrounding area not only by word but also by deed, reaching out to the lost and with a concern for the poor and needy.

KCC is not a part of any particular denomination of churches but neither are we independent, for we are in relationship with a number of other churches both here in the UK and other parts of the world working together as "Ministries Without Borders".

Students are very welcome at King's Community Church; in fact we have a strong legacy of adults who first came to King's as students. We greatly encourage students to become involved in the life of the church, through joining life groups and serving in various ministries.  We support the work that the Christian Unions do and are excited about seeing God's Kingdom extended across our campuses.

In the early weeks of the first term we welcome visiting students to join us for lunch after the Sunday meeting. This is a great way to meet other students and of course other members of the church and find out what we're about. We really look forward to getting to know you during your time in Lancaster.
